Do we both need to pay?

Each person who uses the app pays for their own subscription, and it covers their personal budget and every shared group they are in. There is no separate charge for the household.

Can my partner see my personal spending?

No. A personal budget is private to you. Only what you record in the shared group is shared.

Can we split an expense unevenly?

Yes. Record who paid and how it divides. It does not have to be down the middle.

Does Jamvi move money between us?

Jamvi records money; it never holds or moves it. Cash and M-Pesa go where they always went - Jamvi is where the record lives, so everyone sees the same thing.
